Shunter Driver – Nights

Who are we?

We have one of the most modern fleets of cold and frozen distribution vehicles. Serving every corner of the UK, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we can deliver to meet the needs of both manufacturers and end users.

Due to rapid growth we are looking to expand our team of Shunters.

The key responsibilities of a Shunter include (but not limited to):

• Ensuring the safe movement of trailers around our 55-acre site.
• Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
• Completing safety assessments.
• Inspecting vehicles and trailers.
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers.
• Safely parking trailers.
• Checking trailer temperatures.

We are looking for the following shifts:

4 on 4 off, 18.00 – 06.00

Are you right for the job?

Training will be given to the right candidate however, experience in reversing large vehicles would be desirable. This role would suit a Class C driver.

Working hours

We are looking for someone to work nights between the hours 4 on 4 off, 18.00 – 06.00

Rate of Pay:

Starting: £14.60 per hour.

1 Years Service: £14.95 per hour.

2 Years Service: £15.45 per hour.
