Our key environmental aims are to implement an energy efficient programme; to protect local watercourses and habitats; and to reduce and, where appropriate, recycle waste. We constantly monitor and review our activities in order to ensure that we are meeting the objectives of this policy. We work within the requirements of ISO 14001, and, where possible, we exceed the requirements of UK and international environmental legislation.

As well as protecting the environment, we are also committed to giving back to the community in which we work. Many of our 800-strong team live in neighbouring towns and villages, and we are happy to support local clubs, schools and community initiatives.

We always consider the effect our business has on local communities, as well as the wider environment, and are sympathetic to the needs of our neighbours, employees, suppliers and customers.
